Terms of Use
By downloading, installing, or using MPC Copilot ("the App"), you agree to the following terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
1. What This App Is
MPC Copilot is an independent, unofficial tool built to help Akai MPC users troubleshoot and learn their hardware, using AI to answer questions grounded in publicly available official Akai user manuals. MPC Copilot is not made, endorsed, sponsored, or reviewed by Akai Professional, inMusic, or any of their affiliates. "MPC" and related trademarks belong to their respective owners; we use them only to describe compatibility.
2. Use At Your Own Risk
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes AI-generated answers, which:
- May be incomplete, outdated, or occasionally incorrect
- Should not be treated as a substitute for the official Akai manual when precision matters
- Are generated automatically and are not reviewed by a human before you see them
You are responsible for verifying any instructions before relying on them, especially anything affecting your saved projects, hardware settings, or firmware.
3. Data We Collect and How It's Used
We aim to collect the minimum necessary to make the App work:

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for third-party marketing. Your conversation content is used only to generate your answer, not to train or improve unrelated products, unless a future update states otherwise and you're notified.
4. Payments and Refunds
MPC Copilot Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited use of the App. It is not a subscription — it does not recur or auto-renew, and you will not be billed again after your initial purchase.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record for all purchases. Paddle handles your transaction, receipt, and any billing-related inquiries; their own checkout terms and buyer policies apply to every purchase in addition to these terms.
If you're unsatisfied with your purchase, contact support@mpccopilot.com within 7 days of purchase and we'll work with you on a refund. Refund requests are also subject to Paddle's own buyer protection policies as Merchant of Record.
5. Age Requirement
The App is intended for general audiences. If you are under the age required by your country's data protection laws to consent to data processing on your own behalf, please use the App only with a parent or guardian's involvement.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ASW Studio and its creator(s) are not liable for any damages, data loss, hardware issues, or other harm arising from your use of the App or reliance on its answers. This includes indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the App evolves. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
